Warning
(1) Applicants who falsely declare their gender, residence, or other information will not be allowed to participate in the recruiting process, and their candidature will be rejected.(2) After thirty days, the computer-based online exam results will be tentatively announced. Those who made the short list will be invited to the second stage, which consists of the written exam and the recruitment medical exam (PFT).
(3) The Indian Navy shall have the last say over which centers to assign for the PFT and written exam.
(4) If a candidate does not report by the time and date specified in the call letter, their selection will be void and they will not be eligible to join the Indian Navy. Applicants who report for stage I - INET more than thirty minutes after the deadline are not permitted to appear in the examination.
(7) The Police Verification Form and other related forms, as well as the Call-up letter for Recruitment at INS Chilka, must be downloaded by all selected candidates. After having the Superintendent of Police in their respective jurisdiction verify their antecedents on a Police Verification Form or an Online Police Verification Form, the candidates must submit the same to INS Chilka. Candidates must have a Police Verification Form from their place of residence or place of domicile. Applicants will not be allowed to enroll if their Police Verification Reports are not confirmed or if the reports contain critical remarks. (8) After six months, no questions about this enrollment or recruitment will be answered.
MEDICAL STANDARDS
(a) Authorized military physicians shall perform medical examinations in accordance with the standards outlined in the most recent rules that are applicable at admission.
(b) The gender. Any candidate will be dismissed as UNFIT if an external physical test reveals that they predominantly exhibit traits of the opposing gender. A applicant will be deemed UNFIT if they have had gender reassignment surgery.
(c) Being expecting a child. If a female candidate turns out to be pregnant, her candidacy will be rejected and she will not be allowed to continue. It is not appropriate for a candidate to become pregnant during their reporting period or after their four-year tenure. If a later pregnancy is discovered during the four-year training or engagement period, appropriate measures for removal or dismissal will be pursued.
(d) Standards for Minimum Height. Minimum requirements for height for male and female is 157 cms.
(e) Body art. Only the inside face of the forearms—that is, the region from the inside of the elbow to the wrist—and the reversed palm/back (dorsal) side of the hand may have permanent body tattoos. Any other portion of the body with permanent body tattoos is not allowed, and the candidate will not be hired.
(f) The applicant must be in good physical and mental health and free from any illness or impairment that would make it difficult for them to carry out their duties effectively in both peacetime and times of war, both ashore and at sea.
IMPORTANT INFORMTION
(a) No cell phone or other communication device is permitted within the building where the examination is taking place. Any violation of these guidelines will result in disciplinary action, which may include being barred from taking exams in the future.
(b) Applicants are highly encouraged to submit their online applications as soon as possible, without waiting till the deadline.
(c) No applicant shall act inappropriately in any way or cause a disturbance during the examination. Disqualification will result from this.
(d) The candidate should carefully consider his selection for the examination venue before completing his online application form.
(e) Applicants ought to refrain from submitting more than one application. Should a candidate submit more than one application, his/her candidacy will be withdrawn.
(f) The Indian Navy reserves the right to make the only determination on a candidate's eligibility at any point during the recruitment process.
(g) Inaccurate information on the domicile certificate will lead to the cancellation of the candidate at any point during the hiring, training, and post-hire processes.
(h) Applicants will have three days after the application window closes to make changes to any information they supplied during the application process. After then, no more edits or adjustments will be accepted.
(j) During the application procedure, documentation, such as NCC certificates and photos, would be verified. Candidates who are discovered to have submitted false information or documents that are counterfeit risk being eliminated from consideration.
